About the Event
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15–October 15), downtown Cortland will host the Crown City Latin X Festival on Saturday, June 20 from 11am–4pm in the Groton Ave. parking lot, presented in partnership with SUNY Cortland.
Savor the flavors of Latin culture with delicious offerings from Los Lagos, including food and margaritas, and Veracruzana Mexican Restaurant and La Bamba will be serving unique bites and goods. A Latin DJ will keep the energy high throughout the day, while a lively mariachi band brings the traditional sounds of Mexico to the heart of Cortland. SUNY Cortland’s Ritmo Latino dance group will also take the stage with dynamic performances and invite the crowd to join in for fun, beginner-friendly dance lessons.
The festival will also feature activities led by SUNY Cortland student clubs:
